The DNS Firewall roaming client is a DNS-based security solution designed to safeguard iOS devices from malicious, unauthorized, or inappropriate web content through real-time analysis of DNS queries. It functions by blocking access to malicious domains as they are detected. The application operates independently of the device's network environment, providing consistent protection whether the device is connected to corporate networks, public Wi-Fi, or any other global network.
For company-managed devices in supervised mode, administrators have the capability to deploy the solution in bulk using any Mobile Device Management (MDM) system. For bring-your-own-device (BYOD) scenarios, administrators can distribute a one-time authentication code, enabling users to activate and begin using DNS Firewall on their personal devices.
